The Trendsetter Consultant Resume Template is a very flexibly formatted resume template that is especially well suited as a consultant resume template or for anyone who does work that is project-based. This includes many people who work in technology fields and need a technical resume template. It is also a great choice for people who work within the “gig” economy for multiple companies. Trendsetter can also be used for board resumes and some executive resumes.
The Trendsetter consultant resume template comes with an optional addendum document that can be used to convey other qualifications that might be relevant to some but not to other recipients. This can be sent along with the resume (or not) or used as a leave-behind at interviews. Resume addendums offer a good way to avoid writing a resume that is too long. Focus on all the most important and relevant experience in your resume, but use the addendum to provide additional details that won’t fit in your resume. While a three-page resume is acceptable, especially for individuals with technical experience to convey and for executives who have a greater depth of information to communicate, a two-page resume with an optional addendum is preferable.
You should be aware that this format could potentially cause some issues when entered into an ATS, as the ATS could potentially recognize each project as an individual employer. Otherwise, this consultant resume template is ATS-friendly.
Like all our templates, everything, including the color scheme, is easily customizable. The Trendsetter resume takes on a whole new “look and feel” when you change the colors.
The Trendsetter executive biography template and letterhead template are designed to coordinate with our Trendsetter Resume template.
As with all our template collections, MS Word is required.
