CREATE A JOB-WINNING RESUME IN MINUTES WITH THIS CUSTOM-DESIGNED MONOGRAM RESUME TEMPLATE

A Distinctive, Highly Professional, Custom-Designed MS Word Resume Template With a Monogram

This resume template with a monogram in the header has a distinguished look and feel and is designed in a classic style that makes it a perfect choice for professional and executive resumes across a diversity of industries.

Including a monogram on a resume is a highly popular design technique. What exactly is a monogram? Simply put it is a person’s initials combined in a decorative design, similar to a logo. Including a monogram on a resume helps to make the resume completely unique. As many people worry that using a resume template could make their resume look like it was created by a cookie-cutter, including a custom-designed monogram is a way to create a resume that is uniquely yours.

The most common placement for a monogram on a resume is in the header of the document. Headers in resumes can be a bit tricky. For more information, read this primer on headers and footers in your resume

It is easy to change the monogram initials to your own. Just click inside the resume template monogram on each letter and change it to your own first name and last name initial.

The Monogramique Collection includes an optional bundle of matching documents besides just the resume template with a monogram. It also includes a resume addendum template, biography template, references template, and cover letter template.

These templates all coordinate, to provide you with an easy way to create a cohesive branded image as a professional. Each of the documents in the collection includes the monogram in the header.

Frequently Asked Questions

We can cover anything you need help with in relation to professional resume writing, from A to Z. My only agenda is to meet your needs and make sure that when our meeting comes to a close, you feel you have received the greatest value possible from our time together. Many colleagues want my help and guidance on challenging projects, and I provide advice in regard to the content, design, and strategy of the resumes they are working on. Others want help preparing for client consultations or handling particularly challenging clients. Professional development with the goal of achieving professional resume writing certification is another common topic.

When you are ready to book, you will be provided with my calendar, and you will be able to select a time and day that best meets your schedule. I do my best to make myself available on a variety of days and times, including occasional weekends and some nights and early mornings, in addition to regular office hours. The booking process is all online and fully automated, to make things as easy for you as possible.

Yes, please do! Our booking form includes space to describe how you want to use your session. If you have a specific resume or other documents you want me to review with you, please email them to me as far before the appointment as possible. That will give me some time to look at them ahead of time, so I can use our scheduled time together to provide my recommendations rather than read the documents while you wait.

Each consultation is scheduled for 60 minutes. Zoom is used so that I can share my computer screen with you during the consultation. This allows me to actually demonstrate recommended resume changes to you rather than just describe them. If you request it, I will record the consultation session and make it available to you for download, so that you may rewatch it later at your convenience.

No, not in the traditional sense. If we are working on a particular document and I see an error, I will certainly point it out to you. And, when I am recommending changes, I may actually make some of them for you on the document, as a way to demonstrate. But I will not proofread or edit your work in a thorough way. If you need help with those services, I will be happy to provide referrals.

WHAT OUR TEMPLATE USERS SAY

Appearances matter, even with the written word, and how a document looks can make an immediate impact on the decision to read it or toss it aside. I train and mentor many excellent resume writers who have mastered the art of crafting highly effective resume content, but who lack the basic MS Word skills to create eye-catching, ATS compatible and uniquely branded documents. Distinctive Templates are the perfect solution for easily transforming well-written content into works of art that capture attention, generate interest, and motivate the recipient to read every word.

While I primarily write resumes from scratch for each of my clients, I have also used Michelle’s templates and received great feedback. I find the templates are especially helpful to organize my thinking for those clients who have an overabundance of important information that still must fit in an ATS-friendly, 2-page format without looking cluttered or disorganized.

When I was starting out with resume writing a little over a year ago, one of the most intimidating aspects was visual design of resumes. I didn’t want to have to learn graphic design to stand out—and with these templates, I didn’t need to! I was a little hesitant at first because I thought the templates might be too rigid or generic. In actuality, they are incredibly flexible and easy to play around with. I can customize any template with my client’s favorite colors in just two clicks—which means they never look exactly the same, even if I use them for multiple clients. Using the templates means I can just do what I do best—write—and then plug the text right into the appropriate section. It saves me literal HOURS of work and hassle. One of the best parts about purchasing from Michelle is that she is extremely responsive to questions. There’s a private Facebook group where she records screen share tutorials about how to switch up certain elements in the templates, and she's always been responsive to my emailed questions. My clients are completely thrilled with the unique, modern design of their resume, and I’m thrilled that I'm saving time and don’t have to learn graphic design!

I love Michelle’s resume templates! The designs are eye-catching and easy to use. I highly recommend these templates for anyone who finds that designing a creative, contemporary formatted resume is a challenge. They’re a huge time-saver.

I used the “Pivot” template to create a combination functional/chronological resume for my first big client. Her words when she saw the finished product: “THIS IS AMAZING!” I’m a writer, not a designer. My resumes aren’t unprofessional, but they needed a “wow” factor – and now they have it. Thank you, Michelle, for offering such affordably priced tools!
